The Sweet Portugal website is the property of Sweet Portugal, Unipessoal Lda, with the tax number 510285937, with headquarters at Rua dos Italianos, nº40, RC/DT, 4405-663 Vila Nova de Gaia. The physical store is located at Rua da Junqueira de Baixo, 28 – 4405-870 Vilar do Paraíso.
Registration on the site is reserved for adults (18 years of age or over), and requires filling in the mandatory information on the registration form. The information provided must be true and the user must update it whenever it changes.
The user assumes responsibility for providing false or inaccurate information, which may result in the account being canceled. The user account is personal and non-transferable and may not be used by third parties. The user must ensure the confidentiality of their password and Pedaços de Cacau is not liable for any damages resulting from improper or negligent use of the password.
Ordering process on the website
The user can place their order via the “cart” shopping process, after having selected “buy” on one or more Sweet Portugal products.
To finalize your order, the user must complete the information and choose the options provided during the checkout process (shipping and billing details; type of shipment; payment method).
If payment for the order is not made within the period indicated at the time of placing the order, the order cannot be validated.
The data contained in the invoice is the sole responsibility of the User. Once an invoice has been issued, it cannot be reissued with changes.
Payment methods
All purchases can be paid for via Mbway and Multibanco. In any case, the choice of payment method is made during the purchase process.
Please do not attempt to pay by any means other than those specified. If you do so, we cannot be held liable for loss of payment or any other damages that may result.
Home Delivery or Store Pickup
Users can choose to have their order delivered to their home or collected directly from Sweet Portugal in Vila Nova de Gaia.
Limitations may be placed on the quantities of products ordered.
- Home delivery
Delivery can be made to a private home, a place of work or another address you specify. It is not compulsory for the billing address and delivery address to coincide.
We do not ship or deliver on weekends or national holidays.
This home delivery service does not include a scheduling or appointment option, so the order will be delivered without prior contact from the carrier or CTT.
Whenever possible, we will try to deliver everything in just one shipment. However, we reserve the right to split the delivery of the order, for example if part of the order is delayed or not available. In the event that we split the order, the customer will be notified by e-mail of our intention to do so. The e-mail address provided by the customer at the time of purchase will be used for this purpose.
Portugal (Continental Territory)
The estimated delivery time is between 1 and 5 working days (weekends and public holidays are not considered working days), from the date your order is dispatched from Sweet Portugal.
If you place and pay for your order on a working day by 2pm, your order will be shipped that same day or the next working day.
Deadlines can vary according to the time of year, such as the weeks leading up to Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day and Easter.
To receive the package, you need to make sure that someone is at the address. If delivery by the carrier is not possible, the carrier will use the data provided by us (name, address and telephone contact) to try to schedule a new delivery. Failure to respond to this contact, which may lead to non-delivery of your chocolates, is not the responsibility of the carrier or Sweet Portugal. No refunds will be given for shipping costs or the total value of the order if there is no response to several contact attempts.
